ALIEN VAMPIRE BUNNY CONTEST BEGINS OCTOBER 1
LIMITED SUBMISSIONS IN SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER
During the months of September and October, I am limiting what I am looking for. For these months, I am only looking for single title contemporary romances and anyone wishing to write for the Harlequin lines.
If you write for another genre, please hold off to submit to me until November.

SCOTT ADDS STEEPLE HILL TO THE GREYHAUS ACQUISITIONS
Thanks to a very persuasive writer during the Harlequin book signing, I will be adding all of the Steeple Hill lines to the type of books I am looking for. All of the category rules apply to these lines as well. Make sure to read the specifics on the Submission Information page.
CONGRATULATIONS ANN LETHBRIDGE
The Rake's Inherited Courtesan has won the Daphne Du Maurier Award for Excellence in Mystery/Suspense.
WELCOME HELEN LACEY
We have just added a fantastic writer "from down under!" Helen is bringing a great sense of contemporary category romance to the line-up. Welcome aboard!
BRONWYN SCOTT TO LONDON
NEW TO GREYHAUS LITERARY AGENCY
In an effort to broaden my contact with writers out there, I will be launching in the coming weeks a chance for writers to talk directly to me about issues in writing. Greyhaus Literary Agency is launcing an online radio program that will allow writers the chance to talk to me personally.
Along with these chats, I will also be providing opportunities for writers to pitch stories to me live, just like you would do at a conference. Stay posted here and on the blog for further details. You can also check out what we have available at the online radio site:
I am really looking forward to this opportunity.
ATTENTION CATEGORY WRITERS
I'm looking for CATEGORY writers. You know who you are so start thinking about your stories. Make sure that you have the following ready to go:
- At least one completed story fitting a specific category line.
- Know exactly which category romance line this story fits with.
- Have either additional stories, or works in progress, or stories drafted that would also fit that specific line.
ATTENTION CHAPTER PRESIDENTS AND CONFERENCE COORDINATORS
I was talking with a couple of other agents at a conference recently and we were talking about attending conferences. They were shocked that I had time off. They had heard from some presidents and conference coordinators that chapters were struggling to find people.
As I have said from the beginning, all you have to do is ask. I will teach all day and listen to pitches by night. Not a bad deal.
Can't afford it on your own? Get together with another chapter and pool resources.
GUEST BLOGGING
Do you belong to a group that has a blog? Do you have
a blog? Interested in having Scott hang out on your
blog and answer questions. I'd be happy to help out
and answer questions!
SEMINARS BY SCOTT
Is your chapter interested in adding a seminar or two to your yearly line-up? Scott now has several seminars available to writing groups. Each seminar also comes with pitch opportunities if you are interested!! Check it out!!!
These seminars are fantastic for local chapters.
- Making Your Relationships Believable and Real
- Do I Really Need and Agent?
Send me a note if you are interested in any of these seminars!
ATTENTION RWA CHAPTER PRESIDENTS
I had the chance to talk to several of you and you had asked if I come to chapters individually. As they would say in Dallas, "SURE NUFF!"
Give me a call, send me an e-mail and let me know what you want. n
I can also help with ONLINE CHATS, WORKSHOPS or single day sessions! Several chapters have also been doing newsletter interviews. I'm here for you!!!
Along the same lines, let me know about those conferences! I would certainly love to come and hear pitches! Please though, ask me to help out at your conference. Don't just pay for me to come and hear pitches and sit on that editor/agent panel. If you're paying for me to come, use me!!!
